Graduate of Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Public Administration. He finished his master in the program of Development Economics and Economic Growth in Marmara University in 2004 and his PHD studies in the same program in 2008. He has been working in New York University since 2011 as a visiting scholar. He published two books called, “Planning Capitalism: Transformation of Planning and State Planning Organization in Turkey” and “Money, Bank, State: Economy Politics of the Central Bank’s Gaining Independence.” “Financialisation, Debt Crisis and Collapse: Future of Global Capitalism” co-written with Ali Rıza Gungen was recently published in 2014.
