Tasos Telloglou

Tasos Telloglou was born in 1961 in Ampelokipoi, Athens. He studied law at the National and Kapodistrias University of Athens.

He began his journalistic career in 1986 at the newspaper "I Proti", where he worked until 1989. He was a correspondent in Germany for the newspaper "Kathimerini" from 1990 to 1997 and for Mega from 1993 to 2000. From 1998, Tasos Telloglou presented the show "Mavro Kouti" for two years at Mega together with Alexis Papachelas and Pavlos Tsimas. In the years from 2001 to 2021, he has broadcast around 300 reports as part of news programmes on five channels (ERT, Mega, Antenna, Star, Skai).

From 2007 until today he works in "K", in 2016 he founded with other reporters the subscription-based reportage website Insidestory.gr. During the TV season 2007-2008 he was awarded the prize for the best journalistic reportage of the year in the TV awards "Prosopa" for his research on the Greek side of the Siemens scandal.

He published the following books:

  • "Γερμανική πολιτική στον γιουγκοσλαυικό χώρο, χρόνια καλών προθέσεων [German Politics in Yugoslavia, Years of Good Intentions]" (1996-2017, with Alexis Papachelas)
  • "Η πολη των αγώνων [The City of Games]" (2004), "Το δίκτυο, φακελλος Siemens [The Network - the Siemens File]" (2009)
  • "H περιπέτεια της μεταρρυθμισης στην υγεία και την ιατρική περίθαλψη [The Adventure of Health and Medical Care Reform]" (2019, with Giannis Kyriopoulos)
