Sedat Aybar, Assoc. Professor of Economics, is the head of Economics Department and the Director of the Middle-Eastern and African Studies Centre at the Kadir Has University in Istanbul. He got his Master and PhD in Economics in London. Aybar has worked as a consultant to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the UNDP. He teaches at the Centre for Finance and International Management (CeFiMS) at the University of London. He has also worked for the Economist and at the financial sector in London.
