Işık Tüzün

Işık Tüzün received her BA in International Relations from Koç University in 2004 and holds an MA in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam (ISS), located in the Hague. During her graduate studies at ISS, she majored in Politics of Alternative Development and minored in Poverty Studies. Having joined Education Reform Initiative (ERG) project team in 2007, Tüzün worked as Coordinator of Advocacy and Education Programs between 2013-2015. She also took office as Deputy Director at ERG. Işık Tüzün’s areas of study include the right to education, children's rights in education, as well as gender, religion and gender. A member of the associations Gündem: Çocuk! Derneği and KA.DER, Tüzün is also a Board Member at Network of Education Policy Centers based in Zagreb.
