She graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Child Development and Education. She is one of the founders of the Çatı Children Library and Art Workshop. Between 2000 and 2006, she worked as the editor of the monthly parents and pedagogue magazine Çoluk Çocuk, whose aim was to put into practice the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Between November 2006 and July 2012, she worked as the coordinator of dialog and advocacy at the Human Rights Mutual Platform. As of July 2012, she has been working as the coordinator of the Child Rights Center of the Children’s Agenda Association, founded by her.
