Duygu Avcı is a currently researcher at the İzmir Planning Agency. She holds a PhD in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam. She has conducted research on the political ecology of mining, environmental justice struggles, and agrarian and climate change. Her work has been published in Journal of Peasant Studies, Geoforum, The Extractive Industries and Society, Ecological Economics and Development.
