I am interested in who is marginalized and who is privileged in our society - and who tells which stories to justify existing power relationships. I like to work on the connection between politics and culture, I love project work and I like to write articles and essays.

From 2007-2015 I lead the taz's opinion department and published more than 400 articles there. Before that, as a research assistant for the German Federal Cultural Foundation, I was responsible for the initiative project: "Relations. Art and Culture in Eastern Europe ". I studied in Berlin and Paris and completed my doctorate in 2008 at the "Office for Feminist Literature" at the University of Hamburg. Title: "The man in crisis - or: Conservative criticism of capitalism in the cultural mainstream" (transcript 2008). From 2010-2019 I taught gender awareness courses at the St. Gallen Business School.
