Derya Göçer is an assistant professor at METU, Turkey. She holds a PhD degree from LSE in International Relations. She is the chair of Middle East Studies at METU. Dr. Göçer focuses on the interaction between international and domestic politics, social movements, and comparative area studies. Her recent publications focus on BRI in the Middle East, particularly Turkey and Iran.
