She received her BA from Ankara University, Faculty of Communications, Department of Journalism, MA from Boğaziçi University, Department of History. She worked as a reporter and editor for various newspapers and magazines. She taught courses at Kadir Has University. She currently writes for Bir+Bir and Express magazines. She is pursuing a PhD degree at Viadrina University, in Frankfurt, in the Department of Cultural Anthropology.
