Ali Koç, born in 1973, graduated from the Law Faculty of Dokuz Eylül University. As a lawyer registered at the Bar of Izmir, he has participated in cases such as the Malatya Zirve Publishing Case and the Hrant Dink Case as an intervening lawyer. For some time, he has worked at the Bar of İzmir Group for the Prevention of Torture, Human Rights Centre and the İzmir Branch of the Progressive Lawyers Association.
