Adem Arkadaş-Thibert

He continued his studies on economic and social demography at Hacettepe University and on the theory and practice of human rights at University of Essex. In the meantime, he worked with the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the United Nations’ Refugee Agency in Turkey, the Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants, and the Children’s Legal Centre in the UK. Since November 2004, He has been serving at the ICC as Child Rights Policy and Advocacy Officer running child rights advocacy initiatives. He is a member of the International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Child Indicators, and also a member of the Governing Board of the South East Europe Child Rights Action Network (SEECRAN).
