Hannah Weiner is a journalist and a Master student of Political Science in Berlin. Since her semester abroad at Marmara University in İstanbul she has been  visiting Turkey regularly and follows the country’s development closely. Her special fields of interest are politics, culture and society. She has been doing research on EU-Turkey-relations, processes of De-Europeanization and the situation of women in Turkey. Hannah Weiner holds a Bachelor’s degree from Mainz University in Political Sciences and Film Studies. For the last ten years she has been working as a journalist for print and online news as well as radio.
