This dossier is trying to show the different consequences inflation and political decisions have on the daily reality of life in Turkey. You will get to know nine different protagonists who share their current struggles, wishes and dreams. All of them are or have been working or living in Kadıköy, a district of Istanbul, which is known for its urban, lively and international atmosphere. Background information are presented to put the different life stories in a broader context.
